The double glazing industry has an array of companies of differing sizes. Large nationals, regionals, SME’s and smaller independent specialists. There are no right or wrong sized company to guarantee satisfaction.
The large nationals have modern factories and consistent quality but sometimes get criticised for poor service. Smaller companies often rely upon another company to make the products but offer a more personal service. However, when you find a good one it seems many of you trust them implicitly, they’re as valuable as finding a good plumber, you stay with them and use them every time you need new windows!
We are seeing some glowing reviews, which go against the traditional view of the double glazing salesman, reviews that say some companies aren’t at all pushy, they don’t mess about with artificial discounts or silly gimmicks, they just offer sound advice and a professional, courteous service.

Given an estimate to consider in our own time, nothing was too much trouble, the installers were all very polite, excellent workers, always cleared up and left things tidy before they finished for the day and also respected our property. Eddie and his team at Bygone Installations Essex installed 5 double glazed sash windows in our Victorian terrace this summer and we are very pleased with the standard of work carried out. The quality and high standards of Bygone windows really cannot be surpassed. We have dealt with them before through recomendation and most recently 2 weeks ago when they fitted a new patio door. The team led by Eddie were brilliant,as were the finished results.We would never go anywhere else since no one else could possibly measure up in essex or anywhere else.

Bygone windows essex fitted patio door 2weeks ago.This is the second time we have employed them and we will always use them in future,Eddie and team were very professional and very cheerful.
